January 18, 2015, Sunday 3:00 PM Concert in the Museum Mansion
Mike Salowitz & John Broadwell (Wells and Witz) Mike was originally a resident of Forester, Michigan. He began his musical career at the age of fifteen as a drummer and guitarist for cover bands in downriver Detroit, and credits his shining performances to his rock’n roll roots. John Broadwell (Sweet Johnny ‘B’) began performing in the late sixties and seventies as a member of the Opus 10, and Wooden Nickels, as well as singing with the Alma College and Eastern Michigan University Choirs. They participate in the Thumbfests and Open Mic sessions in Lexington with new songs written and old songs rearranged. Melodic simplicity from Folk and Western music are coupled with innovative guitar and squeeze box accompaniments to make roots music poignant and entertaining.
Admission $10 adults, $5 Students
