Community Christmas Open House at Museum Mansion

On Saturday, November 30th (The Saturday following Thanksgiving) The Sanilac County Historical Society will be hosting a Community Christmas Open House from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Loop-Harrison Mansion.  


To accommodate a large anticipated turnout, please visit Eventbrite to reserve a free ticket for either 6:00 to 7:00 or 7:00 to 8:00


You will be able to view the historic home decorated in all it's holiday finery, sing or listen to some Christmas carols, and you might even get a visit from Santa while you're there.  Admission is by free will offering. Please come and bring your friends.

Irene Miller Speaks at Town Hall Series November 16th.

The final installment of the inaugural Town Hall Lecture Series will feature Holocaust Survivor Irene Miller speaking about her life and signing copies of her book, "Into No Man's Land." 
This final event will take place in the Museum Church, on Sunday, November 16th, at 3:00 PM.  Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for children.  Refreshments will be made available.

Jen Sygit to Perform at The Museum Church

On November 9, 2014, Sunday 3:00 PM in the Museum Church Jen Sygit, songwriter 
will feature her own music. Jen who grew up in Marysville, now returns to the “sunrise” part of Michigan will share her original, often lighthearted take on modern life.  It will be an intimate performance from one the best contemporary Michigan Songwriters.

Jen has thousands of fans throughout the Midwest who love her genuine songs, her smooth sound and her classic Americana Style.
